Marcomm Inc. is looking to hire a UX Designer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Translate the product vision, customer and business needs into measurable customer validation activities.
  • Lead usability research studies using a range of moderated and unmoderated methods, to explore and validate assumptions around the customer experience.
  • Lead research strategy efforts for the product team and execute on a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods (i.e. - usability testing, A|B testing, etc.)
  • Analyze a variety of data and clearly communicate a concise and actionable summary of results.
  • Manage relationship with external partners and software tools, as needed.
  • Lead and support other research team members, as needed.¬†
  • Consult with business or regional stakeholders on benefits, approaches and tools available to support data driven decision making via customer research.
  • Collaborate with UX and Development team members to ensure optimal customer experience and technical feasibility are incorporated into customer validation efforts.
  • Proactively identify and communicate project risks to Product Owner, UX and development team members.
  • Monitor and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through analytics, call center, competitive analysis and user research.
  • Participate in UX peer reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to ensure quality and consistent experiences across digital products.
  • Ability and willingness to wear multiple hats as needed for success of the team.
  • Respectfully challenge assumptions and engage others in dialogue to define solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Four year degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interactions, Psychology, Anthropology or equivalent experience in research roles
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading end-to-end research studies, including moderation
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with a variety of prototype fidelities for the purposes of gathering customer feedback¬†
  • Experience working with and managing outside vendors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint for presentations
